GORDON DAVID WOLFE
October 12, 1957 – February 20, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce that the founder of Wolfe Auto Group, Gordon Wolfe, passed away on February 20th, 2018 at the age of 60. Gordon had bravely fought both Amyloidosis and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma for the past few years with grace and dignity.
In 1987, Gordon founded Wolfe Auto Group with his long standing friend and business partner Mike Hacquard. Gordon’s vision was to grow from one store to multiple dealerships and through their tireless efforts, ingenuity and dedication the goal was achieved.
Today, Wolfe Auto Group is a successful and well-respected company with 4 dedicated dealerships, an independent leasing company and over 200 staff.
One of Gord’s greatest achievements was working with Mike to develop and mentor an outstanding team of people to execute his vision and today we all share in the loss of his passing.
The most recent Community Driver Award bestowed upon Wolfe Auto Group was Gord’s proudest business accomplishment, being recognized as a leader in helping those within the community.
Gordon’s kindness, warmth, and generosity touched everyone he met. He was loved and respected by all of us here at Wolfe Auto Group, our customers and business partners.
Gordon leaves behind his wife Wendy, his two daughters McKenzie and Callais, along with her husband Kyle and their sweet baby Cruise.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gordon’s memory to the Amyloidosis Foundation and/or The Vancouver General Hospital.
We are honored to announce the creation of the Gordon Wolfe Memorial Scholarship Fund, in his memory.
As a member of Wolfe Mitsubishi, Kayla Morton-Hamiltion is an integral part of what makes the company work, both for our clients and for their contributions to our unique and inviting culture.
