What’s in the New 2023 Model?
The new model has an amazing fuel efficiency of 6.2L/100 Km on a combined drive of highways and city roads. This vehicle comes with a warranty for 10 years or 160,000 Km of travel. CVT transmission is the new standard for three of the trims in the Mirage line, providing more control over your engine.
Features and Specs
The latest model comes with heated front seats, ideal for the cold weather. This car includes automatic climate control, keeping the in-car temperature cool or hot and adjusting as necessary.
The standard model has an output of 78 hp and 74 lb-ft from the 1.2L I3 engine and DOHC, 12-valve, Mitsubishi Innovative Valve-timing Electronic Control system (MIVEC) valve train. This pairs with the fuel economy of 7.1 L/Km in the city and 5.8 L/Km on the highway, bringing a combined road fuel efficiency of 6.5 L/Km.
Safety and Driving
The vehicle’s design incorporates a seven-airbag system, while the Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution body optimizes crumple zones to absorb energy during an accident. Reinforcements are placed in key positions on the car’s body to keep safety the number one priority.
Active Stability Control, Traction Control Logic and a rearview camera help you drive better while on the road or in the parking lot. Stability control helps prevent slipping when your wheels lose their grip, applying braking and engine output as needed.
Design
The ES MT and other trims come with a spacious area for cargo, opening up 484 L of space. The seats can be folded down, more than doubling the space and giving 1,331 L of open packing area.
The seating for the MT and CVT models is a stylish option of synthetic leather and fabric. This upholstery option is ideal, as the heated front seats can easily transfer warmth through the material.

Technology and Infotainment
The models come with a 7” Smartphone Link Display Audio system, complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that lets you sync your mobile device with the car. Through the system you can access apps, receive or start calls, listen to music and send texts. Steering-wheel-mounted controls for the cruise control allow you to manage the speed and safety of the system while driving. Additionally, phone and volume controls are on the steering wheel.
FAST-Key keyless entry and push-button start are great additions that will prevent you from fumbling with your car keys. The technology allows you to enter the vehicle and start its engine at the push of a button. Push-button-car-start mechanisms can reduce the chance of accidents, lessening the risk of suddenly starting the vehicle.
Models and Pricing
There are four trim levels available for the 2023 model: the ES MT, ES CVT, SE CVT and GT CVT. The ES CVT comes with a starting price of $14,298 and is a two-wheel-drive manual transmission. The ES CVT features a Continuously Variable Transmission, an Eco mode indicator and comes in a carbon-fibre finish. This trim is available at a starting price of $15,498.
The SE CVT has a starting price of $17,598, and features cruise control with steering wheel-mounted controls, power windows and welcome lights. The SE CVT also comes with power door locks, remote keyless entry and panic button.
The highest tier, the GT CVT, comes at a starting cost of $20,748 and has a wide variety of features. Lane-Departure Warning and Forward-Collision Mitigation help keep driving simple, while offering comfort on the 6-way manual adjustable driver’s seat. Fast-Key keyless entry with push-button start adds the finishing touch to the Mirage line for 2023.
